The Carlton is powered by the Ronda Calibre 5021.D (Swiss Made) chronograph movement.
A 'chronograph' is a device that can measure short periods of time accurately. In this case, the movement in the Carlton provides a stop-watch function for up to 30 minutes when the chronograph is activated, as well as a running seconds hand for normal use.
