We are pleased to announce that we are officially partnered with Wood Motorsport and Dale Wood in the Connected Spaces Porsche Carrera Cup Car.
Dale Wood has proven himself to be a highly competitive contender in Australia’s most competitive and premium classes of motorsport over his career. With 20 years in the motorsport industry, having success at Formula Ford, Super2 champion and through to the Supercars Series, and now into Porsche Carrera Cup, Dale has and continues to perform to the highest level.
Dale has raced against, and regularly beaten, the country’s most exciting young drivers, achieving multiple pole positions, 13 podiums and 18 race wins along the journey with over 100 race starts. Dale now sits 6th in the all-time wins for the Carrera Cup Championship which is now in its 21st year.
Dale is incredibly passionate about continually presenting a high-end product, both for the track and for his sponsors. Winning ‘best presented car’ on multiple occasions - ensuring his car stands out in the paddock.
2023 was a prime example of Dale's competitiveness, and his on-track results were just as impressive as the off-track experiences.
Dale was the only driver to win 2 rounds during the season, winning all three races, both times. Finishing the year 3rd in the Australian Porsche Carrera Cup Championship, being acknowledged at the Porsche Gala Awards Night in November.
Coming off the back of a record-breaking year in 2023, the championship is set to jump to another level for Australia’s top one-make category throughout the 2024 season with an even bigger and better schedule of events.
